DAV Kotdwara recently conducted a crucial Cyber Safety orientation program, addressing the increasing need for online security, especially for students transitioning to college. In an era where connectivity is paramount, the responsibility to safeguard cyberspace rests on each one of us.
An informative session on Cyber safety unfolded for students in Classes 9th – 11th. Mr. Tanush Aeron, an esteemed alumnus of DAV Kotdwara, currently contributing to the internal audit department of the US-listed cybersecurity company SentinelOne, spearheaded the program. Tanush, a Chartered Accountant and a product of DAV Public School, Kotdwar (Class of 2009), generously volunteered his time to impart essential knowledge on Cyber safety to the next generation of internet users.
The session focused on sensitizing students to the imperative need for Cyber Safety in an age where online threats are omnipresent. The students were enlightened about the potential risks of careless online behavior and educated on effective Cyber security practices. The interactive nature of the program allowed students to actively engage, sharing their experiences, and seeking clarification in a dynamic question-and-answer session.
