Kotdwar, Uttarakhand – The sacred city of Kotdwar is preparing for one of its most cherished annual events — the Shri Sidhbali Baba Annujaan Mahotsav, popularly known as the Sidhbali Mela, scheduled from December 5 to 7, 2025. Celebrated with deep devotion and cultural enthusiasm, this three-day festival attracts thousands of devotees who come to seek the blessings of Shri Sidhbali Baba and participate in a series of spiritual and community rituals.
As per tradition, the Mela will be organized at a grand scale this year as well, with blessings from Shri Sidhbali Baba’s divine grace and active participation of devotees from Kotdwar, surrounding regions, and across the country.
✨ Day 1: Friday, December 05, 2025 – The Auspicious Beginning
The festival will begin early morning with sacred rituals including:
🔹 Pindis Mahabhishek – 5:00 AM
A spiritual cleansing ceremony of the sacred Pindis of Guru Gorakhnath Ji and Hanuman Ji.
🔹 Mandir Parikarma – 7:00 AM
🔹 Ekadashi Kundiya Yajna – 7:00 AM
The commencement of the 11-kund fire ritual, performed continuously throughout the festival.
🔹 Siddhbali Baba’s Dandi Padyatra – 8:00 AM
A 1 km barefoot pilgrimage to reach the revered Paduka Sthal, the seat of Baba’s meditation.
🔹 Grand Doli Shobha Yatra – 3:00 PM
An impressive procession will move through key areas of Kotdwar, bringing vibrant colors, music, and devotion to the streets.
